I was one of the founding engineers in tap health. I built the initial backend, AI Apis and search features. Later, I left coz I was not able to balance my full-time job with this. But nonetheless, I did write quite a bunch of code here.
I was hired to design and implement the AI Voice feature for it. Built and patched pipecat for the entire end to end workflow with function calling, VAD, LLM Fallback mechanism and crosstalk(my favorite). This was a 40 hr gig, though I think it would be ditched coz soon we will be having end-to-end llm voice api’s at the time of writing. But it was quite fun designing and implementing it.
